netstat command reads which file

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me netstat command in solaris10 reads which file.

Do a "truss -t open -o /tmp/output netstat" as root . This will
show you all the open system call. Do a "more /tmp/output" and look at
the files that were open .
Netstat read /proc filesysytem, not ordinary files, because it give you moment snapshot of the parameters, not stored in files!
The netstat utility obtains TCP statistics from the system by opening /dev/tcp
and issuing queries.
