Check Linux Hardware Raid

how to check the hardware raid in Linux

Use the tools from RAID hardware manufacturer

Depend o hardware raid.
see files under /proc/driver
for example on some HP you can run
"cat /proc/driver/cciss/cciss0" to see some basic information on the
logical drives, including their RAID levels.

To check RAID,

Use the command "mdstat -d".
It will display use RAID is Active & Configured or not.

there is one another way .....

remove one hard drive in runtime....
if it is RAID then the system will satll runing..
