Linux dialup

Anybody know how to get linux to work on dialup and if it is possible, It seems as if i have tried everything.

Are you trying to provide dial-up to users from a Linux server over
which you have control, or are you trying to use a Linux client to get
dial-up onto another server ?

What systems (h/w and o/s) do you have both ends, and what client
software are you running to provide terminal services ?

I assume you know the basics on line speed, parity, stop bits and
TX/RX control.
Hi, go to system-administration-network configuration ,then click on new it show the device option form this you can select the device(modem connection). Before this you have to connect you dialup connection to the machine.
