Load Balancing of Same Traffic Between Two Different IP's

www.unixbabuforum.inI am supposed to implement a load balancing of same traffic between two different ips. Say I want to load share the DNS traffic between two ips x.y.z.1 and x.y.z.2.

Please provide any code help for this.

iptables are considered for routing the traffic tp the said IPs

The code can be in Shell or in C.
www.unixbabuforum.inDual WAN balancing is not hard to setup. While load balancing is best done at the ISP level, it can easily be done at a gateway device running Linux.

www.unixbabuforum.inDNS servers in the same subnet which he has control over and for which he wants to have load balancing in the front firewall. That is incoming traffic then.
I can't see any reason to do load balancing for outside of own network internet DNS servers.

www.unixbabuforum.inyou might go use relayd(8) from OpenBSD: https://calomel.org/relayd.html. It is made for a situation just like this. It's been in OpenBSD since 4.1 named as hoststated and then renamed to relayd in OpenBSD 4.3.
