Load Balancing of Same Traffic Between Two Different IP's

www.unixbabuforum.inI am supposed to implement a load balancing of same traffic between two different ips. Say I want to load share the DNS traffic between two ips x.y.z.1 and x.y.z.2.

Please provide any code help for this.

iptables are considered for routing the traffic tp the said IPs

The code can be in Shell or in C.
www.unixbabuforum.inDual WAN balancing is not hard to setup. While load balancing is best done at the ISP level, it can easily be done at a gateway device running Linux.
www.unixbabuforum.inIf your solution is not necessary to use Linux iptables, then there's a chance you might go use relayd(8) from OpenBSD: It is made for a situation just like this. It's been in OpenBSD since 4.1 named as hoststated and then renamed to relayd in OpenBSD 4.3.
