NFS filesystem avoiding the server to boot at managed time .

www.unixbabuforum.in I am facing a booting problem with a NFS server and its client servers ,
the issue is NFS FILESYSTEM is taking 2 to 3 hours to mount before making the server to boot ,
this same problem is happening with all other NFS client server .
www.unixbabuforum.inBy default the NFS will attempt 1000 retries to find the server for the
mount.
Lower this number to 3-5 attempts.
Also by default NFS will create a hard mount and continue to retry for the
specified number until it finally times out. I suggest a soft mount to
receive the error message that the attempts failed.
