unix to linux mailx option problem

www.unixbabuforum.inwe're moving from unix to linux soon, so i'mm testing my scripts. we use the following command to send emails notifying our customers that they have a new bill to view online. this command line works in unix not redhat linux. what happens is the -r is not recoginsed in linux. the -r changes who the e-mail is coming from. i can't find such a option in linux.
cat $tempfile | mailx -s "$email_subject" -r Conserv $email_recipient

www.unixbabuforum.inUse mutt as the mail agent. This has all the options for masquerading plus will also allow you to add attachments.
