Restrict Samba User From Listing .cpp and .hpp files

www.unixbabuforum.inHello all: I need to restrict a certain Samba user from listing *.cpp and *.hpp files in a certain directory. Is there a way to do this using restricted shell for the UserID being restricted. The directories where these files reside are in /home/ipuser directory and subs. I know that I can symbolic link the directories to the restricted User's logon, but how to restrict them from viewing or listing the .cpp and .hpp files?

www.unixbabuforum.inYou can use the following Samba option to hide certain file types.
veto files = /*.cpp/*.hpp/*.{*}/

You'll find more details of veto files systax on samba site. This option is used in shares section, applicable to individual shares.
