Solaris 10 patching Issue with Zones - LU upgrade

www.unixbabuforum.inI have my rootdisks in Veritas and my config is as follows

vxdisk list output

c1t0d0s2 auto:sliced rootdisk rootdg online
c1t1d0s2 auto:sliced rootmirror rootdg online
c1t2d0s2 auto:sliced zrootdisk zonedg online
c1t3d0s2 auto:sliced zrootmirror zonedg online

www.unixbabuforum.inUsing Live Upgrade with a Logical Volume Manager

1. Create and populate a new BE by cloning the current OE.

2. Upgrade the new BE to the Solaris of your choice

3. Activate the new BE.

4. Remove old Vxvm software and install latest VxVM

software, patching as necessary, in the new BE.

www.unixbabuforum.inIt's saying that you tried to use /dev/vx/dsk/zonedg/root as the device for
4 different filesystems, you can only put one filesystem on on a device. If
you want all the zones on one filesystem, put the parent directory on the
device and don't list them separately. If you want them on separate
filesystems, then use different devices for each.
