unable to start oracle after upgrade to hugemem kernel

www.unixbabuforum.inOne of our redhat enterprise linux 3 AS, kernel-hugemem-2.4.21-53.EL. getting the following error while starting the oracle database

We had done the following changes. 

1. upgraded memory to 32 gb 

2. upgraded kernel from (2.4.21-47.0.1.ELsmp to to kernel-hugemem-2.4.21-53.EL) 

After upgraded the kernel with new kernel unable to start the oracle data base . Getting the following error. 

We are getting the following errors. 

SQL> startup 

ORA-27123: unable to attach to shared memory segment 

Linux Error: 22: Invalid argument

SQL> exit

No problem with old kernel .

#umount /dev/shm
